My Latest Portrait...Kelley

This is a portrait I did for my friend Rusty...a Christmas present to his girlfriend Kelley.
I think it is one of the best portraits I have done. Kelley is quite the glamorous model.

They loved it and if I must say so myself, I love it too.

It is done with colored pencil on Canson paper.

That's Rusty holding the portait.
By the way, he has a rockin' band...Hwy 50 Band.
He just put out his first CD, Changing Lanes!
Check it out.

I like the Drawring. Do you draw flys? My dad's a bit of an artist and my mom used to ask him that. I love your blog, I've spent hours reading through it!

Oh MY! This was quite a large project for pencil. The image was so refined I was thinking pastel perhaps or gouache. If I was wearing a hat right now it would be off for you!

Hi Lew, Sandy turned me on to your blog. We met once if you remember when our car broke down on 441 & you came to our rescue or at least to Sandy's and Sheri's. A wrecker came to our rescue and hauled us all the way back to Palatka. Thanks so much.
Loved your portrait of Kelly, it's really good. Haven't seen all your blogging and art yet but looking forward to it. Good luck.
